The 15th Regional Training Course for Sub-Saharan Africa

The 15th European Academy of Neurology–African Academy of Neurology Regional Training Course for Sub-Saharan Africa, held Nov. 27–29, 2025, in Windhoek, Namibia, brought together more than 100 neurology residents from over 15 countries for an intensive program combining lectures, case discussions, and hands-on workshops in areas including epilepsy, stroke, neuroinfectious diseases, neurophysiology, and neurogenetics.

Supported by global partners such as the World Federation of Neurology and the American Academy of Neurology, the course emphasized its theme, “Neurology Without Borders,” highlighting the shared continental responsibility to advance brain health in Africa through collaboration, ethical practice, skills development, and strong regional networks.
