The 9th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN), held in Budapest, Hungary, from July 1-4, 2023, which was a highly significant event in the field of global neurology. With nearly 6000 participants attending onsite and 2000 joining online from 116 different countries, the congress showcased a truly international spirit.
Mr. Paul Boon, President of the EAN, described the event as "four days of cutting-edge research, unique educational opportunities, deep discussion, industry buzz, and enthusiastic networking, accompanied by glorious weather and set in a bright and welcoming congress venue - altogether a real home of neurology."
The Hungarian Neurological Society (HNS) played a pivotal role in the success of the congress, with Prof. Dr. László Csiba, President of the HNS, serving as the President of the EAN 2023 Program Committee.
