World Congress of Neurology Awards

The Angela Vincent Award

Named after Prof Angela Vincent, Emeritus Professor at Oxford, and honorary positions at University College and King’s College London, and winner of WFN's 2017 Scientific Achievement Award.  The award is for Best Young Neurologist Investigator at the WCN

To be considered for this award:

  • Applicants must have submitted an abstract to the World Congress of Neurology and be a neurologist in training or early in their career, have an M.D. or equivalent medical degree, hold a post not above that of Associate Professor, and be no older than 45 years of age at the time of the WCN.
  • Applicants should also be a member (trainee or neurologist) of their country's Neurology association or society.
  • The winner will be chosen by a subcommittee of the WFN Education Committee based on the quality of their abstract and review of supporting documentation.

 

The Elsevier Awards

In 2023, Elsevier will offer 6 Awards in the sum of $1,000 each to deserving abstract submitters (the first author) for:

  • Best Clinical Paper x3
  • Best Research Paper x3.

All accepted abstracts are considered for the award. Winners are notified by the secretariat after the review of abstracts.
