Several of the WFN Regional Neurological Associations have dedicated neurological journals publishing regional, peer reviewed research articles and editorials aimed at neurologists, clinicians and physicians working in neurology and the neurosciences.

According to the Association of South East Asian Nations Neurological Association (ASNA) there are approximately three thousand neurologists in South East Asia and there is a need for the neurology fraternity within the region to meet and communicate more frequently in order to learn from one another, to solve the common problems and together develop neurology in the region.
Neurology Asia —formerly known as Neurological Journal of South East Asia—is the official journal of the ASEAN Neurological Association (ASNA) ⧉, the Asian & Oceanian Association of Neurology ⧉ (AOAN) and Asian & Oceanian Child Neurology Association ⧉ (AOCNA). The journal has been in publication for over 23 years.
The primary purpose is to publish the results of study and research in neurology, with emphasis to neurological diseases occurring primarily in Asia, aspects of the diseases peculiar to Asia, and practices of neurology in Asia (Asian neurology).
Neurology Asia is an open access journal.
