International Congress of Parkinson and Movement Disorders (MDS2020)

Sunday 13th September 2020 to Thursday 17th September 2020

UPDATE: A Message from the Congress Organizers Regarding the International Congress and COVID-19

Dear Colleagues,

With the onslaught of cancellations and postponements, there are undoubtedly questions regarding the status of the 2020 International Congress in Philadelphia. We are monitoring the situation closely, and waiting for more information to become available in order to evaluate all of our options. We anticipate sharing a plan of how we will proceed by the middle of May.

While we are optimistic that the pandemic and travel bans will have passed by September, we must also consider the social and financial repercussions that challenge our attendees. The priority of the Society is, and has always been, to deliver the most relevant, top-notch education to our global community of movement disorder specialists. MDS is moving forward with this mission in mind, and with respect for what many of our colleagues are currently enduring. We are considering all options in delivering the best quality education to the greatest number of delegates. At this point, we just need some time for the situation to unfold in order to make the best decision on behalf of the delegates we serve.

The safety of our members, attendees, and staff is the highest priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented and unpredictable time.

Kindest regards
