The patient advocacy summit bring together leaders across the spectrum of neurological diseases on the professional, patient, and public sides to coalesce around the need and roadmap for patient advocacy in neurology while launching the world federation of neurology’s patient platform.

Learning objectives:

  1. Discuss the state of patient advocacy across the spectrum of neurological diseases.
  2. Describe the human right to brain health according to the human rights council, the goals of the world health organization’s intersectoral global action plan, and the role of patient platform and advocacy efforts in helping to ensure these rights and achieve these goals.
  3. Integrate the patient voice, perspective and priorities and establish a coalition partnership and roadmap for patient advocacy across neurological diseases
