About World Brain Day

World Brain Day 2020 - Join the World Federation of Neurology and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society on July 22, 2020, as we share vital information about the onset, treatment and prevalence of Parkinson's Disease, and stand beside both those living with the disease and their caregivers.

Parkinson's Disease is a neurodegenerative brain disease that affects more than 7 million people of all ages worldwide. Parkinson's can impact movement and almost all aspects of brain function, and people with Parkinson's disease may be particularly impacted by the current COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope that you and your society will participate in sharing the efforts for WBD. The chair of this activity is Professor Tissa Wijeratne.
