Cancer Neuroscience is an emerging scientific discipline concerning the interactions of the nervous system with cancers. Neural inputs regulate multiple different types of cancer including gliomas and extraneural tumors such as lung carcinoma. These neural inputs and dependencies may render cancers susceptible to new treatments targeting neural pathways.
