- Giuseppe Sancesario is Director of the Laboratory of Experimental Neuropathology, Department of Systems Medicine, Tor Vergata University of Rome;
- Professor of Neurology in the School of Sports & Motor Science;
- Senior consultant at Alzheimer’Center of Santa Lucia Foundation;
- He has been:
- Past Director of the Memory Center of Tor Vergata General Hospital;
- Past Director of the School of Neurology, Tor Vergata University of Rome;
- Past president of the Italian Association of Neuropathology;
- Past Director of the master in "Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementia".
He organized several national congress and workshops.
Research Interests
- Experimental neuropathology;
- Nitric Oxide in the basal ganglia;
- Phosphodiesterases and cyclic nucleotides in Extrapyramidal disorders;
- Physiopathology of L-DOPA dyskinesia;
- Biological markers in Alzheimer disease and other dementia.
