The World Federation of Neurology (WFN) and the Department of Neurology of Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal are delighted to announce a one-year.
Visiting Fellowship Program in Epilepsy for African Neurologists.
The WFN presently offer two types of fellowships. One of them is epilepsy, to meet the huge needs to treat epilepsy in Africa. The WFN Teaching Centre in Dakar has excellent experience in epilepsy and will train the fellow in all pertinent issues of epilepsy.
Cheikh Anta Diop University would like to support the African Initiative of the WFN by inviting an African colleague to participate in a one-year training course in Epilepsy. The purpose is to experience the Senegalese medical system in an international environment, meet new colleagues, and foster future cooperation.
The training course in Epilepsy at the Department of Neurology of Cheikh Anta Diop University will include epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and good clinical practices. Teaching will be conducted in French.
The visit will take place for one academic year from September 2017 to August 2018.
