Prof. Dr Kay Sin Tan

Dr Tan Kay Sin is Professor of Neurology at University of Malaya and Senior Consultant Neurologist(Stroke/Neurology) at the University of Malaya Medical Centre. He is the Immediate Past President of the Asia Pacific Stroke Organization, a Fellow of the Royal of Physicians(Edinburgh), a Fellow of the American Heart Association and a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences(Malaysia).

He is also a past President of the Malaysian Society of Neurosciences and had served in the Stroke Council, Malaysian Society of Neurosciences.  Dr Tan has lectured widely in international and national meetings, with more than 100 presentations to date. He has also published more than 120 publications in international peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings and chapters in international textbooks. His research interests include clinical trials, neurosonology and stroke in young adults.
