The latest Service Page of the Journal of the Neurological Sciences (JNS) showcases the World Federation of Neurology’s (WFN) ongoing efforts in publications, advocacy, education, and international collaboration.
Among the highlights is the nearly completed WFN White Book on Neurology, edited by Alla Guekht, Steven L. Lewis, Riadh Gouider, and Wolfgang Grisold. This major publication will provide a comprehensive overview of global neurology and serve as a strategic tool for future planning.
The issue also reports on WFN advocacy and leadership training, including the Global Advocacy and Leadership Program (GALP), run in partnership with the American Academy of Neurology, which trains young neurologists from low- and middle-income countries.
Looking ahead, the World Congress of Neurology (WCN 2025) in Seoul will bring together neurologists from across regions in a hybrid format, continuing the WFN’s commitment to accessible education.
Additional features include World Brain Day 2025 initiatives led by Tunisian neurologist Prof. Imen Kacem and extensive stroke epidemiology research from China, underscoring global efforts to improve brain health and neurological disease surveillance.
The World Federation of Neurology (WFN) service pages, edited by Profs. Steven L. Lewis and Wolfgang Grisold, provide additional information on WFN activities, and complement the World Neurology (WN) website and WFN social media.
