Training Centre Mexican Academy of NeurologyThe World Federation of Neurology (WFN) and the the Mexican Academy of Neurology (MAN) are delighted to announce a one-year Visiting Fellowship Program in Mexico in General Neurology.

The project is dedicated to young neurologists in Central and South America to spend a one-year fellowship centered at the General Hospital of Mexico “Dr. Eduardo Liceaga” with rotations at each of the following three sites:

  • National Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery (INNNMVS)
  • National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition (INCMNSZ)
  • General Hospital of Mexico


and input from the trainee based on the trainee’s interests and needs.

Options for clinical experiences in the fellowship include training in neuroinfectious diseases, the cerebrovascular unit, neurologic manifestations of systemic disease, and outpatient therapy in neurological disorders, among others. The WFN has designated these training sites as WFN training centres, and the first in the Americas.

The fellowship will be for one year, and the costs of travel, local costs, and insurance will be covered by the WFN with the support of the host country.

Teaching will be conducted in Spanish.
