By Dr Maria Benabdeljlil, Moroccan Society of Neurology
The Maghrebian Congress of Neurology, organised by the Moroccan Society of Neurology (MSN) took place in Marrakech from 13 to 15 December. An international session was organised during the Congress, in partnership with the Moroccan Foundation against Neurological Diseases, the WFN and the EAN.
Professor William Carroll, President World Federation of Neurology, gave a talk during this session entitled "An approach to the inequities of access to neurological care and brain health. The World Federation of Neurology perspective".
After the session, I spoke with Professor Carroll to find out more about how WFN can help the national neurological societies such as SMN to tackle this problem and about the WFN Needs Registry.
