The aim of this school is to create a teaching forum where leading international experts will teach and discuss clinical autonomic function with a view to provide a better understanding of autonomic nervous system dysfunction, stimulate scientific discussions and develop a clinical autonomic network among medical residents that are the main target of this school.

Within these frame, the main objectives of this school are:

  • bring together clinical scientists to educate on autonomic function and dysfunction;
  • create a discussion forum where the emphasis will be made on the clinic autonomic function approaches in order to provide a better understanding of disautonomy by sharing research, results, experiences, methods and therapeutic strategies
  • foster collaboration between medical professionals interested on the autonomic nervous system field.

The school will cover lectures, clinical case presentations, comments on sessions with discussion panels, hands-on sessions where the participation of all faculty members is expected.

The overall outcome of the five days long scientific and pedagogic activity will conveyed to a school book that will be e-published at EFAS website.
