12th European Congress of Neuropathology (ECNP 2021 VIRTUAL)

Seeing the current COVID-19 situation and uncertain perspectives for next year, it was decided to switch to a virtual format of the Congress. The dates will be 31 May - 3 June 2021. 

The European Confederation of Neuropathological Societies (EURO-CNS), The Scandinavian Neuropathological Society (SNS), Odense University Hospital and University of Southern Denmark welcome you to the 12^th European Congress of Neuropathology. 

The Congress will cover all areas of neuropathology and focus on novel diagnostic approaches including molecular mechanisms explaining pathological and clinical manifestations of neurological diseases. An important issue will be integration of novel molecular technologies into neuropathology. The scientific program will include lectures by top scientists about cuttingedge technologies and workshops focusing on the practical approach in an innovative interactive way.

Exactly as planned before, our scientific program features state-of-the-art plenary lectures, symposia and workshops. Sessions will consist of live and pre-recorded talks combined with live discussions (Q & A or discussion panels), and many full sessions will be broadcasted live with live streaming. Authors from selected abstracts will be invited to present their work in several symposia, workshops or in the free communication sessions. Posters are uploaded to an advanced poster platform where presenters can add audio and video to their presentation.

Although we will certainly miss the opportunity of meeting ‘live’, we are confident that our virtual platform offers alternative opportunities to interact and that we will have a very engaging congress.

As with the previous European Congress of Neuropathology, we will be applying for accreditation by European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).

Abstract submission is open.  Those who are already registered can keep their registration and will receive a refund of the difference with the new (lower) fees.

Those who had submitted an abstract for the original congress dates in 2020, have to re-submit.
