EANO School of Neuro-Oncology

The EANO School of Neuro-Oncology is a comprehensive high level, postgraduate, in-depth 2-year virtual programme covering 7 weekends (one every 2-3 months) in neuro-oncology aiming to provide education on all aspects of the discipline including basic science, epidemiology diagnosis and treatment of all neuro-oncology conditions for adults and children as well as supportive care for survivors and end of life care and research to healthcare professionals and basic scientists planning a career in the field.

Each weekend will consist of 20 teaching hours with a test at the end of each weekend. In addition, a comprehensive test after completion of the course will lead to a certificate. A 1-3 months rotation at an accredited NO centre (for health care professionals) or research laboratory (basic/translational scientists) may follow, to acquire hands-on experience at the clinic/research laboratory.

The programme is available for a small number of attendees, from the fields of Neurology, Medical Oncology, Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, Neuroradiology, Neuropathology, specialized nursing and allied health professionals, and basic/translational scientists working in NO or related fields, who commit to complete the whole course and are selected based on an application. Working knowledge of English is required. The cost of the program will be EUR 1.200 (incl. 20% VAT) which includes participation in all sessions and course materials.
