Asia Pacific Stroke Conference 2016 (APSC 2016)

The Asia Pacific Stroke Conference (APSC) 2016 is jointly organised by the Asia Pacific Stroke Organisation (APSO) and the Stroke Society of Australasia (SSA), scheduled from 14 to 17 July 2016 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane, Australia.

The conference theme is “Extending access to stroke treatment”. This theme is particularly relevant in the setting of a new era in the management of acute stroke involving reperfusion modalities of thrombolysis and endovascular thrombectomy in acute ischaemic stroke, and early physiological control including blood pressure lowering in acute intracerebral haemorrhage.

The 4-day program will include plenary sessions, workshops, scientific abstract presentations pertaining to cutting edge research and lively debate sessions on acute revascularisation, stroke registries and models of delivery of care.
