The primary objective of the course is to encourage co-operation and to promote exchange of knowledge between participants from different countries. The course is a meeting of respected scientists that work with stroke presenting and discussing all major aspects of stroke risk factors, as well as new insights in epidemiology, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of stroke.
The course provides the opportunity to exchange knowledge between respected scientists from western countries and colleagues from central and east European countries working with stroke.
Summer Stroke School Scholarships, funded by a grant from the Medical Centre Aviva, offer a unique opportunity for students and trainees to obtain knowledge and experience in stroke-related topics and provide a fantastic insight into the new approaches in prevention and stroke diagnostic.
The scholarships offer students and trainees the experience of working with well-established scientists and colleagues in a productive working environment of wonderful Dubrovnik.
