16th Kaleidoscope Conference - "Weaving the Strands of Palliative Care"

This conference aims to:

• Bring together national and international, interdisciplinary health care providers from diverse clinical and academic settings to interact and network
• Explore the kaleidoscope of palliative care, in which each of the parts contributes to the overall picture of care
• Facilitate sharing and discussion on issues emerging in providing evidence based palliative care
•  

The 16th Kaleidoscope Conference will include the exploration of six distinct strands:

1. Progressive Neurological Conditions
2. Advanced Symptom Management
3. Bereavement and Loss
4. The ‘tools’ necessary for weaving the Warp and Weft of spirituality
5. Ethical Decisions and Dilemmas in Palliative Care
6. Palliative Care for the Person with Dementia
