Prof. David Molyneux

Emeritus Professor in The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and Director (1991-2000),  and Emeritus Professor of the University of Liverpool.

Honoured in the 2020 New Years Honours list with the Companion of the Order of St Michael and St George (CMG) for "services to controlling neglected Tropical diseases".Professor of Biology, Chairman of the Department of Biological Sciences and Dean of Science at the University of Salford where he was a member of Faculty from 1977-91.

Professor Molyneux graduated (MA, PhD) from Cambridge University in parasitology before embarking on a career in medical parasitology and entomology.
