Prof Jeyaraj Durai Pandian is the Vice President of World Stroke Organisation and the President of Indian Stroke Association.

He is the recipient of Global Stroke Services Award 2020 by World Stroke Organization.

He was the Congress Co-Chair, World Stroke Congress 2016, Hyderabad He is in the editorial board of International Journal of Stroke, Journal of Stroke and European Journal of Stroke.

He is the Editor-in-Chief, CHRISMED Journal of Health and Research and Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Stroke Medicine.

He has published widely on stroke thrombolysis, stroke systems of care, epidemiology and rehabilitation in low- and middle-income countries (Publications 190, Citations 102431, h-index 54, i10-index 109)

He is the National PI: Indian Stroke Clinical Trial Network (INSTRuCT). His special interests are Stroke care services, Stroke trials , epidemiology and Systems of care.
