This study examined how cannabis abuse affects outcomes across ten neurological conditions using health data from over 140 healthcare organizations. Patients with and without cannabis abuse were compared for emergency visits, pain, mortality, and stroke risk. Cannabis abuse was consistently linked to higher emergency department use and pain across all conditions. Although there were signs of increased mortality and recurrent strokes, these trends were mostly not statistically significant. The findings highlight the need for tailored care and further research into the neurological risks of cannabis abuse.
