The World Federation of Neurology (WFN) Aphasia, Dementia and Cognitive Disorders (ADCD) Specialty Group will hold its next biennial meeting in Noosa Heads, Australia, at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas from 19–22 February 2026.
Following our 2024 meeting in Japan, the 2026 event continues the group’s tradition of rotating across continents, from Asia to Europe to the Americas, and now, for the first time, to Australia. This global cycle underscores the international reach of the group and encourages participation from colleagues worldwide. For over 50 years, the ADCD biennial meetings have provided a unique forum for international experts to engage in open and stimulating discussion on cognitive disorders. Unlike large-scale dementia conferences, these meetings are deliberately kept small and interactive, with attendees typically also serving as presenters, creating space for genuine exchange and collaboration.
The call for submissions is now open. We welcome:
Further details on the programme and registration will be available soon. For more information, please get in touch with Dr Aida Suarez-Gonzalez (aida.gonzalez@ucl.ac.uk) or Prof Peter Nestor (p.nestor@uq.edu.au).
