Stefano Giannoni Luza holds a Medical Degree (Universidad de San Martin de Porres, Peru), and a certificate diploma on Principles and Practice of Clinical Research Methods (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, USA).

He did a Post-doctoral research fellow in the Neuromodulation Center & Center for clinical research learning, at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School and is currently working as Post-doctoral researcher in the Sensory-Motor Laboratory at the Fondation des Aveugles in Lausanne, Switzerland. Furthermore, he is an active research member of Synapsis Mental Health group in Peru which aims to improve mental and neurological health at a community level.
