Jointly organized by the WFN and the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), GALP equips young neurologists from low- and lower-middle-income countries with advanced skills in advocacy, leadership, and communication.
This year’s cohort completed a year-long program beginning with an intensive two-day workshop at the AAN Annual Meeting in San Diego, followed by a series of virtual sessions from May to September, and culminating with the final in-person training and graduation in Seoul.
Throughout the program, participants developed and presented advocacy action plans aimed at improving neurological care and patient outcomes in their home regions. Graduates now serve as global ambassadors for neurology advocacy, continuing to advance brain health worldwide under the joint banner of the WFN and AAN.
