More than 3.4 billion people globally live with neurological conditions, yet millions lack access to necessary care.
To address this challenge, the World Federation of Neurology (WFN)—in collaboration with six regional neurological associations (AAN, AFAN, AOAN, EAN, PAFNS, and PAUNS)—will host the official World Brain Day 2026 Webinar.
This one-hour webinar brings together representatives from the World Health Organization (WHO) and regional leaders from Africa, Asia and Oceania, Europe, North America, Central and South America, and the Pan-Arab region.
Panelists will discuss how access issues impact brain health and discuss potential practical strategies for improvement. Many neurological conditions can be prevented or managed more effectively through earlier diagnosis, lifestyle adjustments, and equitable access to treatment.
Key Speakers Include:
The event will feature a roundtable discussion exploring why brain health matters and how to implement the core pillars of the World Brain Day campaign:
Panelists will outline how regional and global efforts are targeting five specific areas:
Join global experts to learn how you can help shape the future of healthcare. Register today to explore how we can elevate brain health as a global medical, social, and economic priority—because access delayed is, too often, access—and brain health—denied.
With support from its 126 national neurological Member Societies, the World Federation of Neurology fosters quality neurology and brain health worldwide by promoting neurological education and training, with an emphasis on under-resourced areas of the world.
As a non-state actor in official relations, WFN supports the World Health Organization (WHO) efforts to give everyone an equal chance to live a healthy life. With Member Societies around the globe, WFN unites the world's neurologists to ensure quality neurology and advocate for people to have better brain health.
