• BALLOT 3
  World Congress of Neurology 2027 Host Venue
  
  

  On 12 Aug 2022, WFN invited member societies in Africa & Pan Arab Regions to bid to host the World Congress of Neurology in 2027 (WCN 2027).

  Three candidates expressed their interest and were invited by WFN to submit a bid including details on the proposed venue and related facilities that would be capable of supporting the WCN. Candidates were also asked to prepare a presentation to support their bids which would be voted on by the Council of Delegates.

  Since August 2023, two of the three candidates have formally withdrawn from the process. This leaves one candidate remaining: Cape Town, South Africa by the Neurological Association of South Africa (NASA).
