1st WFN/AFAN e-learning Day

The World Federation of Neurology and the African Academy of Neurology are delighted to announce to you their first virtual one-day Teaching Course “the 1st WFN/AFAN e-learning Day”, which will be held on Saturday, 10th October 2020.

This educational event is held with the support of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN), the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) and the World Stroke Organisation (WSO). It will bring together neurologists and residents in Neurology in Africa and around the globe.

The main topic will be “Stroke a Treatable and Preventable Disease”. It will be treated in four Scientific Sessions, with a parallel session in French.

  • Session I: Stroke Burden and Challenges in Africa
  • Session II: Stroke Risk Factors and Subtypes
  • Session III: Stroke Imaging
  • Session VI: Stroke Management (with parallel session in French)


Through this initiative, we will discuss Stroke from bench to bedside with:

  • 10 speakers from all over the world providing deep insight into the latest developments in their field.
  • 10 conferences divided in 5 sessions
  • QUIZZ and Winners
